Our new franchise location will open at the new Lotus’s Mae Rim, marking the beginning of an exciting chapter alongside a globally recognized culinary favorite. This opening comes at a historic juncture for the brand. Minor Food, in partnership with Serruya Private Equity, acquired global Korean fried chicken brand Bonchon International in an estimated $218 million deal. Through this acquisition, Minor Food evolved from Thailand’s trusted master franchisee—operating over 100 local stores—into the global brand owner managing all operations outside the Americas. Partnering with a powerhouse brand backed directly by Minor Food's global ownership strengthens our mission to bring world-class dining directly to local communities.



This venture is more than just a restaurant opening—it represents a pivotal step in our long-term vision of building a diversified business portfolio across food & beverage, hospitality, real estate, and lifestyle ventures. As we scale, we look forward to expanding Bonchon with additional locations, bringing signature flavors and exceptional dining experiences to Chiang Mai and beyond.
